Christmas with the Moore Family

Uncle Nate enjoyed playing with all of the new toys...as you can see, he's the only one smiling in this picture! :)Again, Uncle Nate playing Travel Trouble with Landon, Alex, and Emma...while lovin' on EstellaVisiting at my Grandma's house (our Beagle is the one glued to us and Grandma's Beagle is the overly blessed Beagle who eats whatever Grandma eats)Us with Grams One of my favorite gifts! Precious and so true! The onesie and hat say, "I was worth the wait."Emma thought it would be funny to get my Dad Michigan boxers...everyone says she is just like a little Joy...she's ornery, as if you can't see it in this picture! :)Landon got Dad Ohio State (needless to say those were the winners)Estella wearing her new rainboots from Aunt Joy and Uncle NateAlex with his new boxers on his head (doesn't he remind you of Ralphie from the movie, "A Christmas Story?")Mandy with BaileyKara and I with our baby bellies! The Moore GangOur attempt at a funny face picture...

Uncle Nate and EstellaAnd once again, Uncle Nate with Estella (she found her way to Uncle Nate often over the weekend)We celebrated Christmas with my family the Saturday after Christmas. We were able to stay a couple of days and play with all of the new toys (not only the little kids, but us "big" kids got toys, too---Wii's). Again, we had four little ones running around (Landon=8, Emma=6, Alex=6, and Estella 22 months), so we definitely stayed entertained and busy! We had a great time and look forward to next year having our own little one a part of all the craziness! :)
Blessings!

Christmas with the Anderson Family

Merry Christmas from the 3 of us! :)The Anderson GangNate with his parents and siblingsMatt, Kara, Nate, and Meghan 3 nephews on the Anderson side...Garner, Caden, and Anderson (they are all so happy because we were about to start opening presents!)So precious! Anderson loving on Bailey! Our gift from Deb and Lee...baby bedding! Yay!
The bedding is a little hard to see in this picture, but you can check it out at http://www.albeebaby.com/migi-splash-6-piece-baby-crib-bedding.html
Love it!
We celebrated Christmas with Nate's family on Christmas Eve. Aunt Donna, Uncle Joe, and Alexandra also came to celebrate with us from Virginia. We had lots of good food, lots of laughs, and lots of fun! Needless to say, the boys kept things "alive" by their energy and enthusiam! They all 3 play so well together (Garner=7, Caden=5, and Anderson=22 months) and Anderson sure keeps up with Garner and Caden just like he's as big as they are. All of our gifts were for the baby, which was super fun and exciting! We also spent Christmas day with Deb, Lee, and Meg. We ate leftovers and were content playing the Wii pretty much all day! :) It's hard to believe next year...we'll have a little boy of our own.
Love,
Joy, Nate, and Baby BOY

Snowman Belly...

So, we've had a pumpkin belly for October, a turkey belly for November, and now a snowman belly for December! Again, Landon, Emma, Estella, and Alex had a blast making their creation. :)

Too precious not to share...

My 6 year old niece (though I'm sure she would correct me by saying she's 6 1/2 years old), Emma lost another tooth the other day. However, once she pulled it out, she lost the actual tooth. Apparently it was lost on the floor somewhere. She decided she better write the toothfairy a note to ask if she would still leave something for her. My sister, Kara sent me these pictures and I couldn't resist sharing them! It gives Nate and I so much to look forward to in our future with our precious little baby boy! PRECIOUS!

6 months along!

We can hardly believe we are 6 months along now. It seems each day passes and we are more and more anxious to hold our little man in our arms. People keep asking if "he" has a name yet, and honestly, no, he doesn't. But...once we do settle on something, it will be a surprise until he is born. He sure is an active little baby and we feel so blessed to be able to feel him move around inside the womb. Each night we smile and laugh as it seems he's having a circus in there! We are so thankful God has chosen us to be the parents of this precious baby boy. Thank You, God!
Thanks to my friend, Tia, I was motivated to post some new pictures a day or two early. :) The first three are our typical monthly belly pictures and the last one is of my best friend, Heather and I. Enjoy!

Quick update

This morning we had another OB appointment. Things seem to be progressing well. Our little man's heart rate was at 152 and he was dancing all around. I think he got an energy boost from me drinking that lovely orange sugar drink for my glucose test. In a nutshell, I'm growing and he's growing! We're exactly 23 weeks along today. We are getting more and more anxious to meet our little guy! Time is flying by!

On a different note, we got some good snapshots of Baby #1, our Beagle, Bailey. Nate and I have always enjoyed watching the Charlie Brown specials on TV around the holidays because after all, Snoopy is a Beagle! Bailey snuggled right up to Nate and watched about 10 minutes of Snoopy before something else distracted her. We were cracking up.

Once it was bedtime, she brought up a toy that I gave her a couple days ago. Of course, it's totally gutted, but she loves carrying what's left of it around. She was snuggling with it. It was so cute! There isn't a day that goes by that this dog doesn't make us smile and laugh.

That's all for now! Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for more belly pictures early next week!

Love,
Joy, Nate, and Baby BOY

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving #2 with my family. Nothing really new to report other than Baby Boy Anderson is moving around more and more. It's the most precious thing we have ever experienced. Enjoy the pictures and thanks, again for sharing in this journey with us!
