Griffin's 1st Halloween

Hello again! Griffin is now 31 weeks old and he's crawling like a crazy man! He's fast and nothing is going to stop him! He also LOVES to pull himself up onto things and stand. He has started giggling by himself. He's laughed for a long time now, but this is something different. I'm not sure what he's thinking, but he just cracks himself up. It's too cute! He's into anything and everything and there is no more leaving the room with him unrestrained! He loves his doggie beyond measure! He's a good little eater when he's not too busy exploring. Napping...that's another story! :) Needless to say, we're having the time of our life with this lil' guy and love him to the moon and back and more!!!
The message below is from him as he's sitting on my lap and wanted to get a hold of the keyboard...

What a lil' man!
Daddy went pheasant hunting with friends, but thankfully he let others take home what he hunted!
I walked out of the room for 5 seconds to throw out a dirty diaper and this is what I came back to! What a boy!
This is my doggie, Bailey who isn't too thrilled with me still (Look closely and you'll see Bailey is sticking her tongue out)
Yes! I'm big stuff!

Griffin also had a Pooh costume from Aunt Danielle and Uncle Matt (and boys), but our camera batteries were dead when we went to take pictures! So those will come another time! And hats off to my sister, Kara who let us borrow the handmade owl costume!
Lots of love and wet kisses,
Joy, Nate, and Griffin (Bailey,too!)

Yes! We have a very happy baby boy and the below pictures will prove just that! :) Griffin is now doing the army crawl and gets around quickly! He's always interested in Bailey's toys and he likes to crawl up to his swing and push it. Needless to say, that usually results in his head getting hit, but he just looks back and smiles. Still no teeth, but lots and lots of slobber! He also just started laughing on his own. Before we'd do goofy things to make him laugh and smile, but now he can be playing by himself and he'll giggle. Our WONDERFUL babysitter, Dara told me yesterday Griffin was playing with a ball and he just laughed and laughed. He and the ball were having fun together! I love it! He sure is easy to please!

We've all been sick at our house, but hoping we're all on the road to recovery. Nate started out with a cold, then Griffin, then I got bronchitis, and Griffin now has a sinus infection. We've been blessed with some wonderful family and friends who have helped us out during this time.

As always, Griffin is the light of our lives and we enjoy his sweet spirit each and every day! God truly blessed us with a precious, beautiful, happy baby boy! Enjoy the pictures!

Love,
Joy (Nate, Griffin, and Bailey, too!)

Our sweet baby boy

Well, as I sit here to update this, our active, sweet, adorable baby boy is right next to me in his exersaucer. He seems to think his exersaucer is his jumperoo. He's trying to jump in it like crazy! It wasn't made to totally bounce like a rockstar in, but apparently he thinks differently!

I remember leaving the hospital right after he was born (almost 6 months ago!)...so sad because I felt like he was already growing up. Or...when he grew out of his newborn clothes...then his 3 month clothes and now his 6 month clothes! People tell me how it just keeps getting better. I have to say at first, I didn't believe them, but it's true! Nothing has ever melted my heart as much as this baby boy's smile and giggle. He's even starting to reach for us now. He's as sweet as sweet can be! We have gotten so many compliments on what a happy baby he is...how content he is! That makes a parent feel like a million bucks! Or how beautiful he is! Yes, I know...I'm his momma, but even if I weren't I'd still think he was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on. :) Hopefully every parent feels that way.

Some other things are he is rolling all over the place, eating like a man (as Daddy says), and he has fallen in love with this mylar balloon we have. Fallen in love or maybe just flat out obsessed with playing with the balloon! We may just have to get him one for Christmas! :)

Here are some updated pictures of him. We truly are enjoying each and every day with this little being! Did I mention how sweet he is?!?! :)

PS...I have to mention...whenever Daddy walks into the room, Griffin's eyes are immediately on him...he's so in love with his Daddy...it's incredibly precious!

One of momma's favorite outfits (25 weeks today)
All smiles! Lovin' tummy time!

3 down for the count!
Look closely and you'll see he sacked out with his thumb stuck inside his pacifier
