Little words, lots of pictures!

I've realized several times I have not updated this for awhile, but between time and energy, there hasn't been much of either! Griffin is now 48 weeks old and his 1st birthday (April 8th) is right around the corner! Griffin has transitioned to all solid foods and no more baby food! He has 4 teeth now which the pictures below will show his wackiness! He does the sign language for "more" and sings, "da-da" all the time. He babbles and babbles and thinks he knows exactly what he is saying! He has even started walking! The most steps he has taken in a row has been 13 at this point! He loves music and dancing. He's a momma's boy. He loves Bailey, our dog! He loves standing at the front door looking outside at the neighborhood. He loves sneaking into anything and everything from the pantry to the dog food to going up the steps. He's around 20 pounds and probably close to 30 inches long! He is quite the character! He is so sweet yet so ornery and I think you'll see that in all of the pictures below! We're loving every minute with him! He's such a doll and so happy!

I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with baby boy #2. My only complaint is tiredness, but other than that I feel good! This boy has really been kickin' it up lately! Nate is surviving both Griffin and I! He's such a good husband and dad!

That's this Anderson Family in a nutshell! Enjoy ALL of the pictures!

Much love,

Joy, Nate, Griffin, and Baby Boy #2! (Bailey, too!)

So, we have been wanting to capture Griffin's hillbilly teeth to show everyone! Very unusual for them to come in this way! but regardless, we LOVE them! Lovin' the teeth! He has 4 now!

Somebody crawled into the pantry and helped himself to a mess!
Looks like Lucy thinks G is crazy!

So, we wanted to get a picture of all the cousins and the 2 oldest were fighting over who got to hold Griffin so they had to take turns! :)

Lucy, Emma, Estella, Alex, Griffin, and Landon

Love this! Landon is so thrilled to be holding Lucy!
He was waiting to patiently to hold Griffin!
Playing in the tent with Grandpa!

Emma and Estella had their 8th and 3rd birthday party which was a pool party! Griffin with Grandpa!

Griffin stayed in the water for 2 hours! Legs were kicking about the entire time! We tried taking him out, but he crawled right back to the edge of the pool for more! By the end of the party, he was in his float with his head laying back relaxing!

So, I was out in the kitchen packing my lunch for work and heard Griffin giggling. I walked in and found this! What a rarity!!! Bailey is making strides with Griffin FINALLY! Griffin loves his Bailey!
This is what has helped Bailey "adjust" alittle more to Griffin :)
Giggling like crazy!
Hi Mom!
Playing with my music table...oh how I love to dance! I even have a favorite song that it plays! It doesn't matter where I'm at in the room or what I'm doing, if it's playing, I'm dancing to it! (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Moore)

Hi everybody!

Baby belly at 17 weeks
Baby belly at 16 weeksLoving this video! Had to share!

Griffin is 42 weeks old today and Momma is 18 weeks pregnant with peanut #2. Griffin has become even more fascinated with our dog, Bailey. However, most of you know, Bailey has not adjusted to him very well at all. Yesterday and today, however, I walked in to see Griffin petting Bailey. Griffin was just giggling like crazy and Bailey was laying there allowing it. I was so shocked! It was like the best day ever in the Anderson home! :) Griffin is also very into dancing. If there is music on, he's usually dancing to the tune. It's so cute and gets a chuckle out of Mommy and Daddy every single time. Nate played the guitar at church this past week and he was practicing a couple of different times. Griffin just stopped what he was doing and swayed back and forth to Daddy playing. It was too cute!

We are currently seeking out some testing for Griffin regarding some health issues. We had a blood draw this morning and probably more to come soon. We're praying for wisdom and discernment on what to do and where to go from here.

I think that's all for now. Feel free to drop us an email with an update on you/your family!

Blessings!

Joy (Nate, Griffin, Bailey, and Peanut #2)
