Our birthday boy and such!

Hello family and friends! I'm just getting around to posting Griffin's 1st birthday pictures! Our little monkey had a blast at his party! and I think everyone else did, too.

Griffin now has 8 teeth (not a one of them are straight either). He weighs 19 pounds (he lost a pound between doctor appointments) and is 29 1/2 inches long. He's walking like a pro and has definitley picked up some speed, especially when he's going for something he isn't suppose to have and Mom and Dad are watching. He loves carrying around the phone, holding it behind his head jabbering away. He also shakes his head yes and no, signs for "more", and waves bye-bye. He said "Ma-Ma" for the first time on Tuesday which was music to my ears! He LOVES playing outside and he loves going on wagon rides (thanks for Grandma and Grandpa Moore). He also loves to swing on the swingset and bounce on the neighbors trampoline. There's no question...he's ALL boy!

I'm 30 weeks along with baby boy #2 (that means 10 more weeks which means 70 more days which means yes, the countdown is on!). He's approximately 15 inches long and around 3 pounds according the the books. He's definitely an active lil' guy. He moves around the most at nightime. This Momma is finding it harder and harder to move like she used to. Last night I spent a good portion of the night sleeping sitting up because of my back and hips. I'm thinking Griffin can almost outrun me! :)

Below are birthday pictures, of course, as well as some pictures of a play date G had with some buddies. There are also some pictures of our friend, Heather's twin boys. I wanted to get a picture of Griffin with both boys, but both were sleeping and Griffin was too busy chasing Pedro the cat around.

Hello family and friends! We have lots of new pictures posted. Our little family is doing well. I'm now 7 months pregnant. I feel more uncomfortable now than what I felt with Griffin at this stage. But no major complaints! We've been asked if baby boy #2 has a name yet and honestly, he does not! Nate and I have tossed around some different names, but haven't quite agreed yet on one. I think baby boy #2 could have a name depending on who you ask...if you asked me, it'd be one name and if you asked Nate, it'd be another name. :) But...we still have 3 more months to figure it out. Nate said we could wait until he is born to decide, but I'm not sure I'll be in the mood to argue at that point if we still can't come to an agreement. :) So...his name is still baby boy #2.

Griffin turns 1 year on this Thursday, April 8th! Where in the world has time gone? Cleaning up spit up, changing diapers, doing lots of laundry, washing food out of hair, picking up toys, getting up and down a thousand times to redirect (plants and outlets are very interesting at this point), running, playing, chasing, laughing, smiling, and loving...that's where the time has went!!! Nate and I couldn't be happier. Griffin has been such an absolute miracle and such a blessing in our lives. We adore that crazy kiddo with all that we are. He has developed a personality for sure. He can be quite ornery yet very sweet. He now has a mean face he is happy to share with anyone. He will scowl and then smile at you and laugh. He loves getting a reaction out of people. We say he could very well be the class clown already! At times if all of your attention isn't on him, he'll lean over and look at you like, "Here I am! Why aren't you looking at me?" He has been loving the outdoors. We've been on lots of walks and have played in the yard a lot.

This Saturday we'll have his 1st birthday party. We're so excited! I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to post of our lil' monkey (hence the theme is monkeys).
