Well, lil' G turned 2 months old on Monday! He's doing fantastic, Dr. Rioch said! Griffin weighed in at 11lbs. 11oz. and was 23 inches long. Of course, as first time parents, we had lots of questions. We have sleeping through the night mastered, but now we are struggling with naps during the day. You can tell he's exhausted when it's time for him to nap, but he just doesn't want to give up. We've been reading the book, "Baby Wise" and we are really working on the whole sleep, feed, wake routine. All I can say right now is pray for our daytime napping schedule! :)
Here's a picture of him at the doctor's office!

We were able to see our friends, Nathan, Hillary, and Maggie who were visiting from Florida. Hillary and I were roommates and worked together at a coffee shop and Nathan and Nathan were roommates. Maggie was born in January, so this was our first time meeting her!

Hillary and I with our lil' loves!

This picture cracks me up as you can see Hillary's hand in action reaching down to save Griffin's arm. :)

So sweet!

Holding hands!

8 weeks old---June 3, 2009 (notice Griffin's big sister in the background) :)

That's all for now!
Love,
Joy, Nate, and Griffin

He's SOOOOO handsome. I cannot believe you have "sleeping thru the nite mastered!" I'm so very jealous. I'm still up 4 times a nite and my baby is 7 months old! I think I'm sleep walking :) Good luck with those naps!
Wow- sleeping through the night!? That's amazing and really early. Lucky! (I guess there are different definitions though, so I'm not sure which one you mean- but still, way to go Griffin!)
If Babywise doesn't work for you, we had great luck with Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child!
How lucky that he is sleeping through the night!! Brya did at an early age too and it's such a blessing. He is so cute and getting so big!
We can't wait to meet him at the Anderson gathering this month!

Hey Joy! Congrats on Griffin sleeping through the night! (I won't say it's luck, because we did babywise too - feed, wake, sleep - and it's a lot of work, not luck!) :-) So congrats! :-) Marcus was sleeping about 6 hours through the night at around 6 weeks, the hard work is SO VERY worth it, so keep it up girl! I LOVE the last picture of Griffin, he looks absolutely adorable and his big sis outside the window ... priceless!! :-) ~Nicole
