Our 1st Baby

Most of you who know me really well know I love my dog, Bailey and talk about her often. So, I decided, it's time to include her on our blog. :) The first picture is of our little princess who thinks she owns the house (and yes, she crawls underneath the covers all by herself and gets situated just like a human) and the next two relate to the story I'm about to share...

So, I've felt exhausted all day long today and have had a headache, as well. I'm sure it's a combination of my allergies, the weather change, and hormones, but I have to say, my dog is a good cure. I got home from work today and walked in front door only to see my old tennis shoes stacked up on the couch on a blanket as if they were on display at the shoe store. Little Miss Bailey tends to be more mischievious when she's getting less attention. So, apparently she thought it would be cute to conviscate my tennis shoes and put them on display. I have to say, it did make me laugh and forget about my fatigue and headache for awhile and has made me smile several times throughout the evening tonight. God bless her little heart as she's so creative at times! (The first picture of her with the shoes is as if she's not fessing up to doing what she did and finally the second picture I was able to get her to sit next to her creation)

3 more weeks until we find out if we're having a boy or girl! In case, I haven't mentioned that already! :) We sooooooooooooo can't wait!

Also, on Saturday Nate and I sat down and made a list of baby things we will need. Being first time parents, we're kind of clueless, so for any of you mommies who are reading this have any input, please help us out! It's hard to know what you need and how many of what versus what you want, etc.

So, there really isn't anything new to report, other than a couple of new pictures of me at 4 months and 1 week (mostly for Nathan since he says he misses seeing my baby bump).
Thanks for reading and being on this journey with us!

Much love!
Joy & Baby

You look great in the pics. It's fun to watch the bump progression. There is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman. Alex and I think that you are having a boy. Alex is wishing for a baby sister and/or brother and wants to know when that will happen. Uhhhh.... I guess I need some help in that department! We hope that you aren't throwing up anymore since you are eating sauerkraut. Do you need to borrow Samantha's (our dog) crying and laughing baby doll for Bailey to be exposed to? Hopefully Bailey won't be too jealous..... there's enough love to go around for everyone!

You are so the cutest pregnant girl! I love the pictures. It makes me miss being pregnant...but I can definately wait for a while! ( I would cry uncontrollably to have three in diapers! haha) It's great that Bailey known to cheer you up when Nate's not there to do it! Miss ya bunches! I'd give ya tips on what to get but it's just too much to type, so we'll just have to chat on the phone sometime! :) Love ya'll!

You are so cute! I'm in love with your belly! I want to come kiss it! I am unsure what I think the baby is going to be.... I kinda want it to be a girl so I can buy her all kinds of pink stuff :) But if its a boy I can buy him all kinds of blue things.... I am just so excited and the fact that your belly is growingggggg!!!!!!! I can't wait to see you. I will be home the weekend of the 7th. I will have to stop and see you baby mama! So can John and I and whoever else in my family wants to come to the hospital so then Nathan can walk out and tell us the babies name? Just like on TLC? Because we are family. haha :) Anyways I loved the pictures of Bailey and you and BABY! I LOVE YOU! :)

Yay ... pic's of Bailey! The original Anderson baby!! I can't wait to hear the stories about how Bailey reacts to the new baby, I'm sure they'll be comical knowing that little beagle girl! Joy, you look amazing, terribly cute with that belly ;) Glad to hear everyone is doing well ... and that you survived the big 3-0 birthday (I'm only two years behind, yikes!)

Take care, tell Nate I said hello. Again, Libby sends some barks to Bailey!!
